THOROUGHBRED BREEDER'S CLUB

Image:

We are looking for like minded people to become involved in a small breeders club.

Currently we have the following horses:-

YEARLING COLT

With a stable name of "Dylan" y Phoenix Reach ex Katy-Q (IRE). A fantastic looking colt who is showing all the signs of being an early 2 year old in 2010.

Dylan is one of Phoenix Reach's first crop of foals - and is pleasing everyone with both his temperament and the way he is progressing.

He is currently being broken in.

YEARLING FILLY

With a stable name of Lily

By Phoenix Reach ex Art Series. Phoenix Reach stands at The National Stud in Newmarket.

Lily is the first foal to a mare called Art Series by Kalanisi. Lily is not as feisty as Dylan but she is growing very quickly and is looking likely to be a late 2yo or a 3yo in 2010/2011. She has an amazing temperament and is doing everything that is being asked of her.

KATY Q - Dam of Dylan.

Katy Q has been very successful as a broodmare and already has a string of winners to her name. She herself was a winner at 2 years old. She has been sent to Pastoral Pursuits to be covered this season and we will be extremely pleased if her 2010 foal is as good looking and talented as her offspring already on the ground.

September 2009
Katy-Q has been scanned in foal. Her foal is due on the 22nd February 2010

ART SERIES - Dam of Lily

Art Series produced a stunning colt in April 2009.

The Racing Club will give people the opportunity to learn everything about the breeding side of horse racing, for the owners to go racing to watch their horses run, visit the mares and foals, The National Stud to meet Phoenix Reach and Pastoral Pursuits and to follow the progress of the two yearlings - a filly and a colt.

The Racing Club experience will give people a real chance to get involved with the mares, foals, yearlings and stallions.

For the first year, the club will get regular updates on all the horses, following their progress for 12 months plus all the other benfits. This really is a unique opportunity.

The Club will be organising a visit to The National Stud to meet Phoenix Reach and Pastoral Pursuits, meet the staff that look after them. We will also arrange days out at the races meet the lucky trainer chosen to train our yearlings. There will also be regular visits to meet the two broodmares, the foal and the yearlings. There is a new foal due to Katy-Q on the 22nd February 2010.

Both brood mares are enjoying fantastic facilities in Binfield, near Ascot that are ideal for the care of the mares and subsequently for their foals and yearlings too.
